Service FAQs

If your property is in a designated historic district, we coordinate with your architect to secure Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) permits for any exterior or facade modifications before touching the building.
100-year-old homes frequently conceal knob-and-tube wiring, galvanized plumbing pipes needing copper replacement, compromised floor joists, and lead paint or asbestos. We assess and remediate these safely as an EPA Certified Firm.
For full gut renovations, the home must be vacated for safety. For partial, floor-by-floor renovations, it is possible to remain, but we will establish strict dust containment and phased utility shutoffs. We evaluate this on a per-project basis.
